Hello Tigers!

Weekly Updates

Back to School Night

We had lots of parents and students at our annual Back to School Night. Students walked around, met teachers, had orientation meetings, socialized and compared schedules. With it being my first year here at Washington County, I was impressed by the amount of students and parents that attended the night. As we move forward with the school year, I look forward to meeting all of the families at Junior High and High School Tiger events.

Our First Days

Thursday (1/2) day was filled with introductions of all kinds including the new principal and all of our teachers and staff members. Students checked out Chromebooks, learned about Advisory, and ran through their schedule, very quickly. Friday (full day) was a shortened schedule. STUCO hosted an afternoon of activities and games for all 7-12 students. They even made the teachers participate in a chicken drumstick race, and it had nothing to do with fried chicken.

Make sure to ask your student how their first days of school were?

Student Shout-Out

When I asked Mrs. Zab why she was carrying the net ball games instead of a student, Mr. Finlayson stepped up and took them out of her hands. That's how to #BeTigerStrong.

Goodbye Tigers!
